Klay

Terms

Plain terms for a simple product. If anything here reads as a trick, it is badly written rather than intended - say so and we will fix the wording.

Last updated 10 August 2026

What you are actually buying

You are buying the ordering, the notes and the judgement: which video teaches a topic best, what order the topics go in, and what you should be able to do at the end of each one.

You are NOT buying the videos. Every video Klay points at is free on YouTube and belongs to the channel that made it. We say this on the homepage because it is the honest description of the product, and it does not become less true after you pay. If you would rather assemble the same path yourself for nothing, the roadmaps and the topography map are public and complete.

What access means

One payment, lifetime access to every course on Klay, including courses published after you buy. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product. If Klay ever shuts down, we will say so in advance and publish the curriculum - the module and lesson structure, and which video teaches what - so that what you paid for survives us.

Access is personal. Sharing an account, or republishing the paid notes, is the one thing that would make this product impossible to run.

What we promise, and what we do not

We promise the curriculum is real and that we say when it is incomplete. Every course shows a visible "curation in progress" state, on the track and on each individual lesson that does not have a video yet, rather than hiding them. That label is computed from the actual coverage, not set by hand, so it cannot flatter us by going stale.

We do not promise a job, an interview, a salary, or a score. Nobody honestly can, and a course that does is telling you something about itself.

Third-party videos can be taken down by their creators at any time. When that happens we replace them. It is the cost of pointing at free material, and we think it is worth paying.

Payment and refunds

Payments are taken by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Refunds are available for 7 days, with no questions - the full policy is on the refunds page.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date at the top of this page changes with them. We will not change what lifetime access means for someone who has already bought.
